Most accountants stop at the border. That is exactly where the money goes missing.

Three accountants.
Or one who sees all of it.

Why us
The usual arrangement
  • Three firms, three invoices, three different year ends
  • Each one stops precisely at its own border
  • Treaty relief that nobody got round to claiming
  • You become the messenger between them
  • Problems found in April that were fixable in June
How we run it
  • One firm, one fee, one calendar for everything
  • The whole structure read before anything gets filed
  • Relief claimed and evidenced on both sides
  • One advisor who already has the context
  • Decisions raised while the year is still open
Services Six, run by one team
01 — 06

Markets

We work inside FBR the way a local firm does, because on this side of the business we are one. IRIS, the Active Taxpayer List, the monthly sales tax cycle and the digital invoicing rules that have been rolling out since 2025.

What we handle
  • Income tax returns for individuals, AOPs and companies
  • Monthly sales tax and annexures
  • Quarterly withholding statements
  • SECP filings and company formation
  • FBR digital invoicing integration
  • Statutory audit under the Companies Act 2017
Dates we work to
  • Individuals and AOPs30 September
  • Companies, June year end31 December
  • Sales tax return18th, monthly
  • Withholding statementby the 20th, quarterly
  • Standard corporate rate29 percent

Two changes are catching people out right now. Making Tax Digital for Income Tax started in April 2026 for anyone over fifty thousand pounds of qualifying income, and Companies House identity verification became law in November 2025.

What we handle
  • Self Assessment and corporation tax
  • Statutory accounts to Companies House
  • VAT registration and MTD filing
  • Payroll, PAYE and pensions
  • Director and PSC identity verification
  • Confirmation statements and secretarial
Dates we work to
  • Self Assessment, online31 January
  • Accounts to Companies House9 months after year end
  • Corporation tax payment9 months and 1 day
  • Corporation tax return12 months
  • VAT registration threshold90,000 pounds

The filings that produce the worst penalties are rarely the income tax return. They are the information returns. Form 5472 carries a twenty five thousand dollar penalty per failure, and it applies to a foreign owned single member LLC that made no profit at all.

What we handle
  • Federal and state income tax returns
  • Forms 5471 and 5472 for foreign ownership
  • FBAR and FATCA reporting
  • Sales tax nexus reviews after Wayfair
  • Entity formation and EIN
  • Treaty positions for Pakistani and UK owners
Dates we work to
  • Form 1040 and Form 112015 April
  • Forms 1065 and 1120S15 March
  • FBAR, over 10,000 dollars15 April
  • Extended deadline15 October
  • Federal corporate rate21 percent

Who ends up
calling us.

Clients
01

Owner managed groups

A company here, another one there, and profit moving between the two with nobody documenting why.

02

Founders living abroad

You are in London or Texas, the business is in Lahore, and two tax authorities both think they have a claim.

03

Ecommerce and digital

Revenue landing in three currencies, a US nexus question nobody has answered, and a VAT threshold creeping up.

04

Anyone facing an audit

A bank, an investor or the regulator has asked for audited numbers and the date is not moving.

Four steps.
Then it stays quiet.

Process
01 Week one

Read

We take the last two years of filings from every country you operate in and read them against each other. This is where missed reliefs surface and where we find out honestly whether you need us.

You getA written list of what was missed and what it was worth.
02 Week two

Map

Every entity, every obligation and every date across all three countries on a single calendar, with the decisions that need making before your next year end ranked by what they are worth.

You getThe map, and it is yours to keep either way.
03 Weeks three to eight

Fix

Ledger cleaned, cloud bookkeeping set up or repaired, open filings closed and every registration brought current. Deeply unglamorous, and the only reason the years after this one stay quiet.

You getA clean opening position, quoted once, not billed forever.
04 Ongoing

Run

Books reconciled monthly. Management accounts while you can still act on them. Filings prepared ahead of the date rather than on it. We contact you before you have to think about contacting us.

You getOne advisor, one number, and no surprises in month twelve.
Switching

You never have
to make the call.

The awkward conversation with your current accountant is the single biggest reason businesses stay somewhere they have outgrown. It is also the part we do for you.

Start the handover
  • We write to them, not you. Professional clearance is requested by us, in the normal way between firms. You do not have to explain yourself to anyone.
  • Nothing lapses in between. We take the full handover and only then change registrations, so no deadline falls into the gap.
  • Four to eight weeks, usually. Faster when a filing date is close, because that one gets dealt with first and the tidying happens after.
  • You keep the map either way. If the read tells us you are already well served, we will say so and you still keep the document.

What it costs,
before you ask.

Fees
01

Fixed, not hourly

One monthly figure agreed in writing before anything starts. Ringing us on a Tuesday to ask a question does not appear on an invoice.

02

Quoted after one call

A short conversation about your actual situation, then a written quote. A single UK company and a three country group are not the same job and should not carry the same price.

03

Clean up priced once

If the books need rescuing, that is quoted separately and once, so you know exactly what a clean start costs instead of paying for it quietly forever.

04

It does not drift

The fee stays put for the year unless your business genuinely changes shape. No mid engagement rises, no line items appearing out of nowhere.

The advisor

Waqas Riaz

ACCA (UK) · ICAEW trained · Kaplan Financial, United Kingdom

Riaz Advisory was built on a simple idea: a business in Lahore should be able to get advice of the same calibre it would get in London or New York, from someone who has actually worked to both standards.

More than 10 years across taxation, audit, accountancy, corporate compliance and intellectual property, on both sides of the Atlantic. Every engagement is led personally, which is the reason there is a limit to how many we take.

Questions

A fixed fee, agreed in writing after one short conversation, before any work starts. No hourly billing, so picking up the phone never costs you money, and the fee does not move mid engagement unless your business does. Clean up work on a messy set of books is quoted once and separately, so you know exactly what a clean start costs.

You probably should not change all three at once and we will say so on the first call. What we would look at is whether anyone is currently responsible for the space between them. Treaty relief, transfer pricing, where profit is recognised and when money moves all sit in that space, and in our experience nobody is being paid to own it.

You do not have to make an awkward call. We write to your current accountant and request professional clearance ourselves, take the handover, and only then change registrations. Four to eight weeks end to end, faster when a deadline is close.

Waqas Riaz leads every engagement personally. You get direct access to the person doing the thinking, not a support queue, and you never have to explain your business twice.

Almost all of our work already runs remotely. Documents move through secure sharing, conversations happen over WhatsApp, email or a call, and clients across Pakistan, the United Kingdom and the United States are handled the same way.

It is the most common way a client arrives. We would far rather see the real state of things on day one than discover it in month four. The clean up is priced separately and once.

Documents are shared through secure channels, stored confidentially and never passed to a third party. Confidentiality is not a policy in this profession, it is the job.
